Sambalpur: Heritage corridor and beautification projects will be developed in Maa Samaleswari Temple in Sambalpur, a release from the office of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stated today.
A high-level team comprising Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Chairman Asit Tripathy, and Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited the shrine today following a direction from Chief Minister and held discussion regarding the project.
According to a release, a heritage corridor will be developed. Similarly, Bhoga Mandap, accommodation facilities for devotees and tourists, and parking space will also be developed.
A rehabilitation package will be announced for the servitors of Samaleswari Temple and those who will lose land for the project, stated the release.
The project will be implemented under 5T and target has been fixed to complete the project in 2 years.
