Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has appointed Sanjeev Chopra, Principal Secretary, Home Department, as the State Nodal Officer for smooth return of Odia people stranded in various parts of the country in the wake of nationwide COVID-19 lockdown.
Chopra will coordinate with other states on train movement for the return of stranded people of Odisha, an official statement said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is talking to Chief Minister of other States for smooth return of stranded Odia people, including migrant workers, students, pilgrims, tourists, professionals and other persons to Odisha.
