Cuttack: In a major development, the Orissa High Court today stated that the fees of private schools in the state to be slashed based on the recommendations of the high-level committee formed by the court for the purpose.
The court further maintained that anyone objecting the fee structure as fixed by the committee can challenge the same through a writ petition.
Earlier, a panel was constituted by the High Court in this connection to make the recommendation of fee structure after the State Government said that it has no mechanism for fixation of fee structure for unaided private schools.
