Senior Revenue Assistant at Athamallick Tahasil Arrested for Taking Rs 20K Bribe

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Friday arrested a senior revenue assistant (SRA) at Athamallick Tahasil Office in Angul district for taking bribe.

The SRA has been identified as Satya Priya Nayak.

Nayak was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a complainant for processing application for partition of land & for issuance of separate RORs between the shareholders.

In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS case no 7/2025 , U/s 7PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress against Nayak.
