Chatrapur: Guided by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5-T Mantra of governance, the Ganjam district administration is all set to launch yet another innovative programme for prompt and efficient delivery of essential land-related services to the people at the grassroots level.
Encouraged by the overwhelming response to its ‘Mo Nibedana’ programme, the administration has planned a similar people-friendly initiative called ‘Mo Gaon Re Tahasil’ from September 29 to solve various land and revenue issues at the village level without any mediator.
As part of the programme, a monthly workshop cum camp will be held in Revenue Circles with intent to delivery of services on the spot and resolve various problems of the rural villagers with the intervention of officials. The camp will also facilitate on the spot delivery of major certificates such as residence, income, caste, legal heir to the people. It will also ensure on the spot e-Pauti realisation.
Through ‘Mo Gaon Re Tahasil’ program, the administration will provide counseling services on land and property issues such as mutual partition and conversion on the spot. The public-friendly camp will also redress different grievances of the people pertaining to payment of ex-gratia and input subsidy. Besides, printed land records or patta will be distributed to the people at these village level camps without intervention of middlemen to avoid corruption.
Notably, Ganjam Collector Vijaya Amruta Kulange had launched the ‘Mo Nibedana’ program – an innovative grievance camp, to hear grievances of rural people and urged officials to address all genuine complaints of the public in the least possible time.
