Seven More Tainted Officials Given Compulsory Retirement in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Continuing its crackdown on corrupt officials, the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha Government on Tuesday handed over compulsory retirement to seven more tainted officials. 

The seven officials including one Jail DIG were given compulsory retirement from service today, include one jail DIG, one Commandant, one DSP, one CDPO and two mining officials.

Earlier on December 30, the State Government gave compulsory retirement to six officials on the grounds of corruption and inefficiency.

With this, as many as 104 officials were handed over compulsory retirement within a year for integrity issues.
