Several Parts in Odisha to Witness Heavy Rainfall from July 25

Bhubaneswar: Several parts in Odisha will witness heavy rainfall between July 25 and July 28, even though southwest monsoon has been subdued in the State, forecasts the Indian Metrological Department.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Sundergarh, Deogarh, nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Balasore between July 25 and July 26, the IMD said in a bulletin.

Besides, the districts such as Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Sambalpur and Deogarh will see heavy to very heavy rainfall between July 26 and July 27.
Similarly, Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Khodha, and Sundergarh will also experience same weather conditions between July 26 and July 27.

Other districts like Sambalpur, Boudh, Bargarh, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur will witness heavy to very heavy rainfall between July 27 and July 28.
Odisha will experience decrease in rainfall in the next two days after July 28, the IMD predicts.
