New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Congress Stalwart Sheila Dikshit was Cremated In Delhi With State Honours.
Hundreds of her followers and Congress leaders as well as leaders from other parties have thronged to the cremation place.
Earlier, her body was taken to the Congress headquarters in central Delhi, from where the funeral procession went to the Nigam Bodh Ghat, where she was cremated.
At the Congress headquarters, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh offered their last tributes as the funeral procession prepared to move on to Nigam Bodh Ghat.
