Angul: Siddharth Shankar Swain today took charge as Collector and District Magistrate of Angul.
Swain, who was working as Ganjam PD, DRDA prior to this appointment and had earned high praises for his contribution in handling of COVID-19 pandemic situation in Ganjam, replaced Manoj Kumar Mohanty, the previous Collector of Angul district.

Earlier on September 9, the Odisha Government had effected a major reshuffle in IAS cadre appointing Siddharth Shankar Swain as the new Collector of Angul and Chakravarti Singh Rathore as Collector of Jajpur district.
