Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) under the chairmanship of Chief Administrator Dr. Krishsan Kumar has held a preparatory meeting today for the smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma, SP Kanwar Vishal Singh and officers of various departments have attended the meeting held at Niladri Bhakta Nivas.
The SJTA and Puri administration have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Bahuda Yatra.
To restrict devotees from coming on to Bada Danda, a 48-hour curfew will be imposed on the Grand Road from 8 pm on Monday till the same time on Wednesday.
All entry routes to Puri would be sealed. Besides, locals roads connected to Bada Danda would be secured.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 testing of the sevayats participating in the rituals of Lord would be completed by this evening.
