State Level Independence Day Function venue shifted to Exhibition Ground, Telengana Troops to Participate in Parade

Bhubaneswar: As part of face lift, the state-level Independence Day parade has been shifted to Exhibition Ground in Odisha capital this year, said,  Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty on Tuesday.

Speaking to media,  Mohanty said the the venue for State Level Independence parade has been shifted to Exhibition Ground from the Mahatma Gandhi Marg.

Apart from troops from Telengana police force Territorial Army, Central Armed Police and Odisha Special Armed Police will participate in the state-level parade this year.

Police said that the new venue could accommodate around 20,000 spectators.
