Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police today arrested a wanted hardcore drug trafficker from Bhubaneswar.
The accused drug peddler involved in multiple narcotics cases has been identified as Sk Jamshed, who is a resident of Haladipadia slum in Bhubaneswar.
The STF had seized 1.20 kg brown sugar during a raid here in February this year. One accused was arrested.
However, Jamshed managed to flee during this raid and was absconding.
He was arrested today and booked under Sections 21(c) and 29 of the NDPS Act.
Jamshed has been forwarded to the court of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Bhubanswar. Jamal was involved in another case in which the STF seized 3 kg drugs, Rs 65 lakh cash and arms & ammunition from Nayagarh.
