Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik has hailed NASA astronaut Sunita Williams’ safe return to Earth after spending more than nine months on the International Space Station.
In his message on X handle, Naveen said Sunita Williams’ fortitude and remarkable grit in the face of uncertainty in outer space is a victory of human spirit. Her historic sojourn will continue to inspire millions, the BJD President said.
“Greatly relieved to know that NASA’s Crew-9 has safely returned to Earth with India’s daughter Sunita Williams and fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore after spending more than nine months on the International Space Station. Your fortitude and remarkable grit in the face of uncertainty in outer space is a victory of human spirit. Your historic sojourn will continue to inspire millions”, Naveen said.
