Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik has asked all the leaders and workers of the Biju Janata Dal to take the message of development to each and every household.
Speaking at the launching of the annual Jana Samparka Yatra on the occasion of the Gandhi Jayanti today, Naveen said Gandhiji has always inspired us. Biju Janata Dal is working for the poor, women, youth, SCs and STs. We are working towards women empowerment. Women’s Reservation was our long standing demand which has been successful. Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana is a game changer in the field of healthcare in Odisha. Odisha has set an example through School Transformation, Food Security and Development of sports.
Targeting the opposition parties, Naveen said that the opposition parties are hindering the development of Odisha. They are not happy with the development of the State. Now they are misleading the people with wrong information and news. This is what they resort to when there is an election. That is why, they have always been rejected by the masses. The opposition is anti-development and anti-people. They also tried to obstruct the Sri Jagannath and Sri Lingaraja temple work. People will not give them power. I request the workers to take the message of development to every household.
The Biju Janata Dal’s Jana Samparka Yatra started today and continue till 11th October.
The Yatra will travel and cover every nook and corner of the state and special programs will be organized to spread the message and make people aware of the state government’s welfare programs.
