Chennai: In a tragic incident, at least six people have been killed and several others injured in a boiler blast at the Neyveli lignite plant in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, injured persons had been moved to the hospital and investigation was underway as the plant was not functional.
This is the second blast at the power plant in three months.
Crime Branch has traced and arrrested Ananda Chandra Majhi , dismissed Inspector and accused in this case from forested area under Handapa PS of Angul district .He will be produced before judicial court now .
