Team Ganjam To Showcase Its Development Model To More Than 700 Officials From Districts

Berhampur: The Ganjam District Administration is going to host more than 700 officials and staff from all across the districts of the state to showcase them the Ganjam Development Model. The move is part of the District Administration to appraise the visiting guests about the various successful developmental activities undertaken in the district. The Officials and staff from the 29 districts of the state will be hosted in phases from today till October 25th in batches. They will witness the developments made in the MGNREGA Scheme and the 5T Transformation program in schools among others. Notably, Ganjam has achieved the prestigious fourth position in the Country in terms of successful implementation of the MGNREGA scheme during 2021-22. The aim of the visit is to appraise the guests about the development model Ganjam as evolved which can be replicated in other districts.

The 721 officials including 170 staff from various districts will be hosted in twelve batches from today till October 25th They will see the developmental works done through the MGNREGA scheme in the district such as development of tourist circuits, model ponds, model Anganwadi centers, Rural parks, Mission Shakti buildings, rural Gymnasuiums, Cowsheds, Biju Panchayat Library, Ganjam Haat, View Points, Kalyan Mandap and Model Hatcheries. The major point of attraction for the visitors will be the Schools Transformation Program initiated in the district. More than 100 schools have been transformed with state of the art technology and infrastructure under the 5T Initiative.

Sixty Six Officials and staff from Kalahandi, Boudh and Khordha will visit Chatrapur, Ganjam, Sanakhemundi, Digapahandi, Aska, Hinjili, Seragada, Purusottampur, Kukudakhandi, Rangeilunda and Berhampur today.

Last month, more than one hundred MLAs and MPs of the state had visited Ganjam district and witnessed the developmental works done in the district. The visiting dignitaries were shown the School Transformation Program carried out in 100 schools of the district. The smart schools of Ganjam have today become an example for other districts.

Team Ganjam led by Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has been leaving no stone unturned to develop the district in all aspects of human development. Starting from development of schools and tourist places, implementation of different government welfare programs, fighting Covid-19 pandemic, developing healthcare infrastructure, development of farmers and empowerment of women through Mission Shakti, the district administration has been leading the way for others.
