Puri: Hours after the brainstorming deliberations held at the newly inaugurated convention hall of the Lokseva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, the senior officials of the state government headed to the picturesque Marine Eco Retreat in Konark being organised by the tourism department.
The weekend stay at the Eco Retreat besides the blue ocean is going to be another session on deliberations on the development of the tourism sector of the state.
According to sources, the senior officers of the government stayed at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat and worked on a master plan for the development of Chandrabhaga beach.
The officials, including Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, arrived at the retreat at the Ramachandi beach in the late evening and were guided by none other than tourism secretary Vishal Dev.
According to Puri Collector Balwant Singh, who was there to welcome the guests, a master plan for all-round development of Chandrabhaga beach will be finalised soon. He said discussions were held with Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on improving the beach and attract more tourists.
