Bhubaneswar: As many as 1009 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery from injuries in the triple train accident in Balasore district.
The Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department on Monday informed that 1207 people, who were injured in the triple train accident in Balasore, were admitted to both government and private hospitals in the State.
Of them, 1009 patients have been discharged till date. Another 198 patients are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals. Except one patient, all are stable in condition, the Health Department informed.
