Dhenkanal: A two-day shutdown order has been issued in the Dhenkanal Municipality area to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The shutdown will be imposed from August 27 to 28, informed Dhenkanal Collector Bhumesh Chandra Behera.
More than 95 positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Dhenkanal Municipality area till date. The number of positive cases is increasing day by day in the district as well as Dhenkanal Municipality area.
In order to prevent, the further spread of the virus, the district administration has decided to impose the two-day shutdown in Dhenkanal Municipality area, the Collector said in an order.
The district has reported so far 1296 cases of COVID-19 including 367 active cases.
