Kendrapara: In a tragic incident, a tourist bus returning to Kendrapara from Sambalpur skidded of the road near Panchubati in Dhenkanal and fell into a canal. Two persons have died in the incident and more than thirty have injured in the incident. The two persons died in the incident have been identified as belonging to Ichapur of Kendrapara. Five of the seriously injured persons have been shifted to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital. The accident occurred at about 3 am in the morning on National Highway 55. The bus was carrying devotees from Kendrapara who had been to Picnic in Sambalpur. Local people helped to rescue the trapped people and sent them to hospital. Fire services and emergency officials reached the spot for rescue.
