UK Hospital Asked to Prepare to Receive First Batch of Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine in November: Report

London: A major hospital in London was asked to prepare to get the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine being developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca as soon as next month, British newspaper ‘The Sun’ reported on Monday.

The hospital staffs were told to be ready to receive the coronavirus vaccine ‘from the week commencing November 2, the report said.

In India, the Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII) has partnered with AstraZeneca to manufacture the Covid-19 vaccine formulated at the University of Oxford.
