Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has reportedly visited Odisha’s Bargarh district in search of Guddu Muslim, the close aide of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed.
The STF has interrogated one person for two days at Bhatli in Bargarh district in connection with Guddu Muslim.
The five-member team arrived in Bargarh on April 18, and after its search, the team left on Thursday.
The Odisha Police extended all cooperation to the UP STF team as per rules. The team did not arrest any person in Bargarh, informed Northern Range IGP Dr. Deepak Kumar.
Earlier, media reports stated that Guddu Muslim’s last location was traced in Puri. However, Puri Police confirmed that they do not have any information about the gangster.
