Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths have unearthed a whopping Rs 1.06 crore in cash during the raids conducted in connection with the Disproportinate assets case of Deputy Manager of IDCOL Gaya Santara. This is the fourth highest cash seizure incident in the history of Odisha Vigilance. All top seizures have been carried out in 2022. Here are the top cash seizures by Odisha Vigilance:
1. Total cash seizure Rs 3, 41,66,280 during house searches against Sri Kartikeswar Raul, AE, MI, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam on 7/4/22.
2. Total cash seizure Rs 1,40, 18,070 during house searches against Ashish Kumar Das, SE, RW Division, Malkangiri on 25.3.22.
3. Total cash seizure Rs 1.13Crore by Odisha Vigilance during house searches against Dr. Sukant Jena, Gynecologist, Charichhaka CHC following trap on 16.2.22.
4. Total cash seizure Rs 1,06,44,500 by Odisha Vigilance during house searches against Sri Gaya Santara, DM, IDCOL on 20/21.12.22
