Berhampur: Vigilance sleuths have conducted simultaneous raids at the properties of junior clerk of R&B Division No-I, Berhampur in Ganjam district due to the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
The junior clerk has been identified as L. Kamaraju Das.
Based the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Das, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 2 DSPs , 5 Inspectors and other staffs.
The raids are conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur.
The vigilance officers raided the junior clerk’s double-storeyed residential building located at Khala Sahi, Ankuli, Berhampur, three other places at Ankuli, Berhampur, office of Sri Das at R & B Division No-I, Berhampur.
The search is still underway.
