New Delhi: As India is witnessing an unprecedented health crisis caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the UK is sending vital medical equipment to the South Asian country to support its fight against the virus.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that vital medical equipment is on its way from the UK to India to help stop the tragic loss of life from the virus.
The UK is standing side by side with India in the shared fight against COVID-19, he said.
Johnson further said that his country will continue to work closely with the Indian government during this difficult time.
“We stand side by side with India in the shared fight against COVID-19. Vital medical equipment is on its way from the UK to India to help stop the tragic loss of life from the virus and we’ll continue to work closely with the Indian government during this difficult time”, the UK Prime Minister said in Twitter post.

The UK will ship more than 600 pieces of equipment to New Delhi to support its fight against the virus, following a request from India.
