Bhubaneswar: Speaking to the media, CEO Sushil Lohani has said that there have been no untoward incidents anywhere. There were some technical issues during the mock polls with the EVMs and they have been rectified. We have replaced four Ballot Units, three Control units and eight VVPAT units due to technical issues, said Sushil Lohani CEO Odisha. The help desks are helping the voters. Facilities of help for senior citizen and handicap voters have been provided. 12 Zonal Magistrates, 36 Sector Officers, 45 Mobile Police Parties are on the field and attending to all complaints.
He also requested all the voters to come to the booths and cast their votes by 4 PM today. All detailed arrangements have been made for poll security in Padampur. Arrangements have been made to immediately shift the EVMs after the voting is over.
