Want to See Mothers Becoming Entrepreneurs, Says Naveen at Chatrapur 

Chatrapur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday reiterated his commitment towards women empowerment, asserting that he wants to see women becoming entrepreneurs.

Addressing a massive gathering of people at Chatrapur, the Chief Minister said that he is very happy that Mission Shakti mothers are doing great works.

The State Government will provide all supports to Mission Shakti SHGs in order to make them SMEs, the CM said.

The CM said that the Mission Shakti SHGs are being given interest free loans of Rs 5 lakh. The government has made provisions for giving Rs 50000 crore to the SHGs, he said.

With the development of the mothers, the country will develop, he asserted.

The Chief Minister said that different projects worth more than Rs 1000 crore has been launched in Chatrapur. It will further accelerate the pace of development in Chatrapur and play a vital role in achieving the goal of building a prosperous Ganjam.

The CM further said that 20,000 people in Ganjam today received gramakanta pattas including more than 3500 people in Chatrapur. The problem of years has been solved, he said.

The Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana and the 5T School Transformation programs are two milestones in the Health and Education field. More than 50,000 people of Ganjam have been benefitted with the BSKY. In Ganjam, out of the 630 High Schools, 471 High Schools have been transformed under the 5T Initiatives. By December, all the schools of Ganjam district will be transformed, he added.

“I am always with you and will work for you”, the CM said.
