Bhubaneswar: Odisha is currently experiencing the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. Although the number of infections is remaining high, severity among the patients is low. As each wave stays for about three to four months, we all need to be ready and prepared for the third wave of the pandemic, said Bijay Mohapatra, Director, Health Services.
All over the world, the situation is similar. We all should adhere to the Covid norms. The state government is ready surveillance teams to face any challenge of Covid-19 third wave in the state. Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are remaining a bit concern as the number of infections is remaining high. People who have taken the second dose of the vaccine are also getting infected with the disease, he said.
