Bhubaneswar: Odisha has created history by organizing the world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath following all COVID-19 guidelines amid global pandemic, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday.
Addressing the people of Odisha through video message, the Chief Minister said, “We have set an example before the world in disciple by successfully conducting the famous Rath Yatra”.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders including, servitors, the SJTA, district administration, police and all line departments and the people of Puri who displayed extraordinary discipline during the Rath Yatra.
Naveen has once again appealed to the people to be more cautious in the month of July and strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines as the number of coronavirus cases is increasing rapidly.
