Bhubaneswar: Winter is likely to be less severe this season in Odisha, according to the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar.

The severity of winter is likely to be less during December to February, as minimum or night temperature is likely to remain above normal in the State during the winter, the regional metrological centre informed.

Meanwhile, the IMD said that the possible cyclonic storm ‘Miachaung’ is likely to have no impact on the State. It is likely to hit the coast of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on the evening of December 4.
