Zero Tolerance To Corruption: Govt Takes Action Against Eleven Corrupt Revenue Officials

Bhubaneswar: Taking a tough stand on corruption in public offices, the Government of Odisha today took exemplary action against eleven officers of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. While two OAS officers have been dismissed from their services, pension has been withhold of nine other officials against whom there were various vigilance cases.

The two OAS officers who have been sacked include Bijayini Biswala, ex-Tahasildar, Loisingha and Pradeep Kumar Behera, ex-BDO Komna Block. The nine other OAS officers whose pension has been withhold include Bansidhar Naik, Prabhat Kumar Mahanandia, Ganesh Prasad Naik, Sunil Kumar Sahu, Nirakar Panda, Santosh Kumar Mahanty, Nabin Seth, Sanatan Sethi and Purander Pujari.
