5T Chairman VK Pandian Speaks To Odia Workers Rescued From Uttarkashi Tunnel

Bhubaneswar: Chairman 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha, VK Pandian today spoke to the five Odia workers who were rescued from the Uttarkashi tunnel. The 5T Chairman had an interaction with the workers through video call. All the five workers are currently under medical supervision at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. State Labour Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak, who is camping in Uttarkashi to oversee the safe return of the workers to Odisha was present during the interaction.

The 5T Chairman queried about the health of the workers and also discussed about the facilities and help being extended by the Government. The rescued workers have thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Chairman VK Pandian for all the help extended by the Government of Odisha. All the rescued workers and their family members will be brought back to Odisha by the Labour Department officials once the medical authorities of Rishikesh AIIMS give nod. On the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Labour Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak along with a high level team of the government of Odisha is camping in Uttarkashi to provide all help and look after the safe return of the five workers to Odisha.
