Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on the occasion of Children’s Day, today dedicated 138 transformed schools in four districts under the 5T initiative of the State Government.
Of the dedicated schools, 100 schools are from Kenojhar district, 10 from Boudh, 11 from Subarnapur and 17 from Bhadrak.
These schools have been transformed with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities, such as new buildings, science laboratories, smart classrooms, e-library cum reading rooms, hygienic toilets, safe drinking water and sports infrastructures.
With this, as many as 330 schools have been transformed under the ambitious 5T High School Transformation programme so far in the State.
A total of 1075 high schools will be transformed under the programme in the first phase.
