Bhubaneswar: Continuing his surprise visits to review and oversee the transformation and development of various projects, 5T Secretary VK Pandian today made a early morning visit to the Lingaraj Temple and took stock of the infrastructure developments going on. Pandian, along with works secretary Kishan Kumar and Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu reached the temple complex at around 5 AM and reviewed the ongoing development process.
The government has planned to develop the peripheral areas of the millennium old Lingaraj Temple to develop to provide better facilities for the pilgrims. For this the government had sanctioned more than 8 crore rupees. The government also decided to bring down one dilapidated market complex near to the temple in order to make way for development of the periphery.
