5T Secy Reviews Progress of ISBT Work at Baramunda

Bhubaneswar: As ordered by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian reviewed the progress of the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) work at Baramunda here on Sunday.

The Baramunda ISBT is the busiest bus terminal in the State. Every day, hundreds of buses ply from here to different parts of the State.

Keeping in view the convenience, safety and needs of the passengers, the work is going on as per the instructions of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the development of this bus terminal under the 5T initiative.

On the direction of the Chief Minister, 5T Secretary VK Pandian visited Baramunda along with BDA Vice-Chairman Sanjay Kumar Singh to review progress of ISBT and bus depot works.

The 5T Secretary directed to complete the ISBT work by next March 2023.

For the convenience of the passengers, parking ATM, food court, shop restaurant, commercial space are being modernized at ISBT Bermuda. The project is being developed over the 11.48 acres of land at a cost of Rs 180 crore.
