Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government’s innovative 5T (Transparency, Technology, Team Work, Timeliness, and Transformation) practice in government administration has taken the E-Governance to the next level in the State, said Manoj Kumar Mishra, Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology on Sunday.
Participating in the talk moderated by India Today’s State of the State Programme on Digital Governance and Role of PPP for Smart Cities, Mishra said, “Ever since Naveen Patnaik took charge as Odisha Chief Minister he focused on the digital governance and since 2019 when he came to power for the fifth time, he is focusing 5T in the governance system to take the e-governance to the next level.
As part of 5T initiative the government has planned to provide as high as 400 services to the doorstep of the citizen.
The motto is the common people should not come to office to avail services, rather government will reach people with 5T initiative, he added.
The government’s motto is people first and the government is also making government process very simple with technology, he said. He giving an example, he said, earlier the people has to take attestation of certificate, but the Government has allowed self attestation, he added.
