Bhubaneswar: As many as 8,830 people have returned to Odisha in last 24 hours, informed Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Information & Public Relations department here today.
While 6382 came in buses, 2409 people arrived Odisha by train and , 39 persons returned to the state through other means of transport during the period, Singh informed.
He further said that 4.92 lakhs more people are likely to return to the State in coming days.
Singh reiterated that all have to register themselves in covid-19 portal before coming to Odisha.
He also appealed to the people to follow quarantine rules and stay discipline in temporary medical camps/quarantine centres.
