Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid his humble tribute to legendary Odia singer Akshaya Mohanty on his birth anniversary today.

Akshaya Mohanty, popularly known as Khoka Bhai, was an legendary Indian odia singer, lyricist, composer, musician and writer.
He has contributed Odia Bhajans, Odissi songs, folk songs, film and non-film modern light songs in Odisha on contemporary themes and ballads based on popular legends in Odisha.
Born on October 12, 1936 in Cuttack, Mohanty breathed his last on November 17, 2002 following a brief illness.
