Act of Humanity: 52 Police Personnel Donate Plasma in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In response to appeal by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to eligible COVID survivors to voluntarily donate their plasma to save precious lives, as many as 52 Odisha Police personnel, who have recovered from corona disease, have so far donated their plasma for the treatment of serious COVID-19 patients.

“So far 52 Corona Warriors from Odisha Police have donated Plasma. We celebrate this half century with humility and dedication”, said Odisha DGP Abhay.

The warrior cops have donated plasma at different locations, like SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, IGH Rourkela, and VIMSAR Burla; and saved the lives of other critical COVID patients.

The police personnel of following districts and establishments have donated plasma and made Odisha Police proud.
