Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department is carrying out searches at several places in connection with the disproportionate assets case of Umesh Chandra Jena, Additional Director, Directorate of Mines, Bhubaneswar. Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance led by 10 DSPs, 7 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The searches are being conducted at five locations in Bhubaneswar, his native village at Sirispal, Dist-Keonjhar, Building located at Gamaharia, Keonjhar, In-law’s location at Ghasipura PS, Dist-Keonjhar, and 5 other places in Keonjhar.
