Bargarh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is in Bargarh to campaign for party candidate Rita Sahu for the Bijepur by elections, will start his second leg of road shows and address way side gatherings today. Yesterday, the chief minister had addressed more than 30 road side gatherings and the response was overwhelming with public attending the meetings in thousands.
Starting his journey from Bargarh, the Chief Minister will launch his campaign today from Talapali Jatra Padia and visit places including Kendubhata, Gorumunda, Gaisilat, Kandumunda Jagalput, Dangbahal, Saradhapali and Gunderpali.
With the opposition in shambles, it seems like the Biju Janata Dal will break all previous records in winning the seat. “The love and affection shown by the people of Bijepur is definitely going to make the elections one sided” said a senior BJD leader who is also campaigning in Bijepur.
While campaigning at Bijepur, the Chief Minister had said yesterday that the people of Bijepur will shower their blessings on the party and the win will be a win for the people of Bijepur and Odisha and not BJD’s. Naveen also got overwhelmed with the gatherings in thousands at all places he visited. It shows that people of Bijepur are with him and they will definitely win the party candidate.
