Bhubaneswar: The All Odisha Lawyers’ Association today felicitated Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for enhancing the Advocates’ Welfare Fund to Rs 5 crore from Rs 3 crore.
More than 250 advocates from Sambalpur, Bargarh, Jajpur, Angul, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Khurda and Cuttack met the Chief Minister at his residence here and expressed their gratitude for the move.
Besides, the Lawyer’s Association also thanked the Chief Minister for the State Government’s approval to reserve 25 per cent of seats in the National Law University Odisha (NLUO) for students of Odisha.
