Angul: In a gruesome incident, five-month old twins were allegedly killed by their own mother in Angul’s Mundadhipa village under Bantala Police Station limits. The incident occurred yesterday night. According to reports, the mother, Tapaswini Sahu, killed the twins – a baby boy and a baby girl, by throwing them into a well near her home.
The police has detained the mother and investigating the incident. It is learnt that she has admitted to have killed herself the twins, but the reasons are unknown. The bodies were recovered from the well yesterday night.
