Bhubaneswar: The shameless act of attacking a lady IIC by Leader of Opposition Jayanarayana Mishra has attracted widespread anger among the people of Odisha. People cutting across sections took to the streets in various places to protest against Jayanarayana. They are demanding the immediate arrest of the Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MLA from Sambalpur.
In Bhubaneswar, people in large numbers along with the Biju Janata Dal workers and leaders gathered at Gandhi Marg and to protest against Jayanarayan. They are demanding his immediate arrest and strict action. They are also demanding his removal as the Leader of Opposition. Jayanarayana is a habitual offender and this is not for the first time he has courted controversy.
Protests are continuing in Cuttack, Sambalpur, Baripada, Bargarh and all other cities against Jayanarayana Mishra. The Biju Janata Dal has threatened to continue the protests if he is not immediately arrested.
