Cuttack: Former Indian cricket captains Mohammad Azharuddin and Sourav Ganguly are expected to visit Odisha to watch the ensuing one-day international (ODI) match between India and West Indies on December 22 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
Azhar and Ganguly will witness the match as the special guests of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).
The OCA has invited Ganguly as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah other board members for the match.
Azharuddin, who had scored his the highest run of 153 against Zimbabwe at Barabati Stadium way back in 1998, is currently the President of Hyderabad Cricket Association.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing at the Barabati Stadium for the one day international match.
Around 500 workers are currently engaged in renovation of the stadium which was badly affected during cyclone Fani, according to reports.
