Bhubaneswar: The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has appointed Anil Kumar Mishra as the new General Manager of South Eastern Railways in place of Archana Joshi. The decision comes after the gruesome Bahanaga triple train accident in which more than 290 people died and about a thousand people injured. Archana has been transferred as General Manager of Rail Wheel Factory Yelahanka, Karnataka. The Railway Board had recommended for the appointment of Anil Kumar Mishra for the post.
