Bargarh: The election to the post of Sarapanch in Govindapur gram panchayat in Bargarh district has been postponed due to the death of a candidate.
However, the elections will be held for the other posts, informed an official.
Balmiki Pradhan, a candidate contesting for the post of Sarapanch in Govindapur GP reportedly passed away in a massive cardiac arrest.
The election has been scheduled on February 24.
