Berhampur: Man Arrested for Using ‘Odisha Police’ Logo Sticker on Motorcycle Number Plate

Berhampur: The Berhampur Police on Friday arrested a man for using “Odisha Police” logo sticker on the number plate of his bullet motorcycle and posing before public as he is working in the police department.

The arrested person has been identified as Surya Narayan Sahu (30) of Kothari Temple Street Badabazar, Berhampur.

The Badabazar police also seized one Royale Enfield bullet and driving license from Sahu.

On getting information about a local person posing before public as he is working in the Police department by using “Odisha Police” Logo sticker on his vehicle number plate, the Badabazar police arrested the person from Old Berhampur.

A prosecution report under 196/177 of M.V Act is submitted against him. He will be produced before the Court of JMFC (Transport) Berhampur, informed Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M said in a press statement.
