Berhampur Police, Admin Call Upon Youth To Connect With Odisha Police Cyber Volunteer Program

Berhampur: As part of the Cyber Safety Campaign – 2023 of Odisha Police that intends to enhance awareness and educating the public about the multifaceted aspects of cybercrime, Berhampur Police and administration called upon the youth to connect with the program and be a part of this great event.

Volunteers who have basic knowledge about cybercrime and Information Technology especially IT employees who are working from home and students of Computer Science may kindly register as a Cyber Volunteer and become a part of the Cyber Crime Awareness Mega program that will be conducted throughout Berhampur from October 2 till October 15th, informed Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M.

Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) Commissioner J. Sonal and Berhampur Sub-Collector Ashutosh Kulkarni C have also appealed to the youth for their active participation in the program to make it grand success.

It is worth mentioning here that, Odisha Police has launched the Cyber Safety Campaign -2023, to address the growing threat of cybercrime. This campaign will strive to create awareness and educate citizens about the various facets of cybercrime. A curtain riser of the Campaign was held Thursday in Bhubaneswar.

The event saw the esteemed presence of the Director General of Police (DGP) Odisha Sunil Kumar Bansal and Arun Kumar Bothra Addl DGP Crime Branch, Odisha who launched a Logo – a unique emblem symbolizing the essence of cyber safety and security.

A mascot is an engaging character representing the campaign’s spirit. A theme Song was also launched with a catchy tune designed to reinforce key cyber safety messages in a memorable way.
