Berhampur: As the residents of Berhampur are eagerly waiting to be part of the much-awaited Silk City Festival 2023, the Berhampur police has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the city festival.
The five-day long cultural festival, beginning from tomorrow at UCP Engineering School Ground, will feature several Bollywood stars and renowned artists from the State. The festival is expected to attract a large gathering of people.
Keeping in view, the Berhampur Police is leaving no stone unturned to make the festival very successful and memorable for the people of Silk City
As per Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M, a detailed police arrangement has been made for the mega event.
Separate arrangements have been made for the venue, traffic and parking, he said.
One Addl. Sp, Six 6 Dysps , 12 Inspectors , 50 SI/ASI , 70 constables and 12 platoons of force will be deployed in and around the city during the festival, he added.
The Berhampur SP also appealed to the people to come in two wheelers or use public transport to reach the venue.
